Certification Requirements


 

Certification of the professional designation CGE (Certified General Ethicist) starts with an earned doctorate.

 

Those employed in ethics that have an earned doctorate, and are encouraged to submit an Application for recognition for certification. 

 

To work towards your CGE designation, you: 
 

  •      require a commitment to earning a doctorate
  •      need to be prepared to work (or, are working) in a capacity of ethics
  •      be committed to professional development

 

 


Student members will be assisted in placement in an ethics position.

 

An application can be sent to the Board of Directors through the Ethics Institute.  An evaluation of the credentials will be appraised by the Board of Directors of the CGE Association presently.

 

Along with the Application make certain that your transcript is sent from your tertiary-level institution.
